Work Placement Co-Ordinators
For those new to Co-Ordinating or carrying out duties relating to the new Work Placements
Following the successful DfE pilot projects in the north west, Colleagues are invited to join us with 2 of the colleges who participated in the pilot to share in the challenges and successes of delivering the work placement programmes including:
i) relevant extended work placements for students within the specific Department/Directorate for the T Level project
ii) complying with health and safety & Safeguarding standards according to relevant FE funding agencies + Inspectorate
iii) working with the teaching team to generate high quality extended work placement opportunities (of over 50 days)
iv) dealing with enquiries & Matching work placement organisations and students in person, via telephone email and online applications.
v) complying with relevant awarding body requirements in regard to work placement and the methods of assessment involved
vi) monitoring students’ progress on placement and maintain work placement records and relevant compliance reporting.
